Dare का प्रयोग (Use of Dare)
Dare का प्रयोग, जब हिंदी वाक्य से सामान्यत: हिम्मत करना , साहसी होना , हिम्मत है , साहस है आदि शब्द अथवा अर्थ प्रदर्शित हो तो इस तरह के अर्थ का हिंदी में अनुवाद करने के लिए इंग्लिश में
Dare का प्रयोग करते हैं .
Dare का प्रयोग अधिकतर नकारात्मक या प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों के लिए ही किया जाता है ,
Dare के साथ में मुख्य क्रिया का पहला रूप आता है
नकारात्मक वाक्य (Negative Sentence)

उसमें मेरे साथ बात करने की हिम्मत नहीं है
I dare not talk to him
उसकी मुंबई में अकेले रहने की हिम्मत नहीं है
She dare not live alone in Mumbai
शीला में स्कूटर चलाने की हिम्मत नहीं है
Sheila dare not run a scooter
उनमें पड़ोसियों से लड़ाई करने की हिम्मत नहीं है
They dare not fight with their neighbors
मेरे में ट्रेन में अकेले सफर करने की हिम्मत नहीं है
I dare not travel alone in the train
उसने अकेले बाजार जाने की हिम्मत नहीं हुई
He did not dare to go to the market alone
शीला को अकेले स्कूल जाने की हिम्मत नहीं हुई थी
Sheila did not dare to go to school alone
उन्हें स्कूल में शोर मचाने की हिम्मत नहीं हुई होगी
They would not have dared to make noise in school
Note:
Dare वाले वाक्यों में courage का प्रयोग करके निम्नलिखित तरीके से भी बनाया जा सकता है

I do not have the courage to talk to him
उसकी मुंबई में अकेले रहने की हिम्मत नहीं है

Dare का प्रयोग साधारण वाक्य
(Affirmative Sentence) में भी किया जा सकता है

अर्चना में अकेले स्कूल जाने की हिम्मत है

मेरे में दिनभर खड़े होकर काम करने की हिम्मत है
I dare work all day long

I have the courage to work all day long
Dare का प्रयोग सामान्य बोलचाल भाषा में निम्नलिखित नियमानुसार मुख्य रूप से अक्सर ही किया जाता है , इस तरह के वाक्यों से अक्सर ही क्रोध या अनिच्छा व्यक्त होती है
