Affirmative Sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य)
उन Sentences का समूह या वे सभी Sentences जिससे हमें सकारात्मक सूचना (Positive Information) की जानकारी प्राप्त होती है और समान्तयः इन सभी वाक्यों में किसी कार्य के करने या होने के बारे में वर्णन होता है। इन Sentences का भाव किसी स्वीकृति अर्थात हाँ में होता है तो ये सभी Sentence, Positive या Affirmative Sentences के अंतर्गत आते हैं।
"The group of Sentences or all those Sentences by which we get positive information. Generally these sentences describe about an action. The Sense of these Sentences is in acceptance i.e. yes, All these Sentence is called Positive or Affirmative Sentences."

Affirmative Sentence Examples (in Hindi to English)
1. राम मेरा भाई है।
Ram is my brother.
2. मोहन अपनी किताब पढता है।
Mohan reads his book.
3. तुमने आज रात में मैच खेला।
You played the match tonight.
4. यह मेरी पुस्तक है।
This is my book.
5. बच्चे आज तुम्हारे घर जाएँ गे ।
The children will go to your house today.
ऊपर दिए गए उदाहरण से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि यहा सभी वाक्य सकारात्मक (Positive) हैं और इनसे हमें सकारात्मक सूचना (Positive Information) प्राप्त होती है।
आइये देखते हैं कि इन सभी वाक्यों को Hindi to English Translation बनाने के लिए हम किन -किन नियमों का प्रयोग करते हैं वो भी जानेंगे।
Formula / Rules (सूत्र / नियम)
Subject + Helping Verb + Main Verb + Object + Translation of the Remaining Part of Sentence
Affirmative Sentence की Hindi से अंग्रेजी बनाते समय
सबसे पहले Subject (कर्ता) की English लिखते हैं,
उसके बाद Helping Verb (सहायक क्रिया) को लिखते हैं,
उसके बाद Main Verb (मुख्य क्रिया) की English लिखते हैं,
उसके बाद Object (कर्म) की English लिखते हैं,
और अगर इसके बाद भी वाक्य का कोई भाग English Translation के लिए बचता है तो उसकी English लिखते हैं।
Example
राम कल मुंबई जाएगा ।
इस सेंटेंस में सबसे पहले सब्जेक्ट राम (Ram) की अंग्रेजी आएगी उसके बाद सहायक क्रिया Will का प्रयोग होगा उसके बाद मुख्य क्रिया go का प्रयोग होगा, उसके बाद Object राम (Ram) की अंग्रेजी आएगी , और उसके बाद वाक्य के शेष पार्ट कल (Tomorrow) की अंग्रेजी आएगी
Ram + will + go + to + Mumbai + tomorrow.
Ram will go to Mumbai tomorrow.
Affirmative Sentence इसमें कुछ ऐसे वाक्य भी हो सकते हैं कि हो सकता है उन वाक्यों में सहायक क्रिया न आए जैसे - प्रेजेंट इंडेफिनिट और पास्ट इंडेफिनिट टेंस। प्रेजेंट इंडेफिनिट और पास्ट इंडेफिनिट टेंस के Affirmative Sentence में सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग नहीं होता है।

मैं किताब पढ़ता हूं।
I read a book.
इस Present Indefinite Tense के Affirmative Sentence में हेल्पिंग वर्ब का प्रयोग न करके, वाक्य में Verb की First Form (मुख्य क्रिया के पहले रूप) का प्रयोग किया गया है। Present Indefinite Tense के Affirmative Sentence में सब्जेक्ट के अनुसार Verb की फर्स्ट फॉर्म में s/es का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Example
राम ने एक पत्र लिखा
Ram wrote a letter.
इस Past Indefinite Tense के Affirmative Sentence में हेल्पिंग वर्ब का प्रयोग न करके वाक्य में Verb Second Form (मुख्य क्रिया के दूसरे रूप) का प्रयोग किया गया है। Past Indefinite Tense के Affirmative Sentence में सभी प्रकार के सब्जेक्ट के अनुसार Verb की 2nd form का प्रयोग करते हैं।
